Research

Leipzig University

Group Member of Molecular Biophysics Group (11.2019-11.2020)

As part of my project-oriented course, I conducted some computational work for the Molecular Biophysics group. My project involves developing a numerical method to analyze the light absorbance of a helix unfolding, namely using the exponential of the transition rate matrix. The project was supervised by Patrick Irmisch.

Bachelor thesis student with the Quantum Statistical Physics Group (12.2018-05.2021)

I have written my bachelor thesis with the Quantum Statistical Physics Group, with the topic “Conventional superconductors in a magnetic field: The vortex state”. This thesis discuss the physical properties of a conventional superconductor when subjected to a magnetic field, under both microscopic and phenomenological viewpoints.

I would like to thank Dr. Andreas Kreisel, for his role as a supervisor in this thesis.

Programming

My interest in programming started during a C# course I took back during my time in Finland. If I’m not busy with my studies and organization duties, I like to improve on my programming skills. Nowadays, the list of programming languages that I’m familiar with are growing slowly, but surely. Thanks in part to my physics studies.
